How Tally XML Import & Direct Sync Works
- Direct Import in Tally: You can click "Download Tally XML" and in Tally press Alt + O (Import) → Transactions → enter the file path
Excel to Tally.xml. - Direct HTTP Push: To enable direct HTTP push to
http://localhost:9000, open Tally → Press F12 → Advanced Configuration → Set "Enable ODBC Server" to Yes and Port to 9000. - Local Browser CORS: If your browser blocks direct connection to localhost:9000 due to CORS headers, use the included
python server.pyor simply import the generated XML directly into Tally!
